DRESS CODE POLICY
There is not a specific dress code for jurors, and business attire is not required. However, you should dress in a manner that will not distract from the proceedings or show disrespect to the Court, the litigants, or your fellow jurors. Hats and non-prescription sunglasses are specifically prohibited. Also, to minimize the risk of having a judge find that your attire is distracting or disrespectful, jurors are discouraged from wearing flip-flops, tank-tops, and shorts. If the Judge of the Court where you are assigned determines that your dress is inappropriate, the Court may excuse you for jury service and require you to return on a later date.
